Two awards mark a victorious night for Version One at the Software Satisfaction Awards 2010

Document management and imaging software author, Version One, has won two awards at the Software Satisfaction Awards 2010, taking both the BASDA Green Software Provider of the Year andEnterprise Paperless Office & Document Management categories.

The prestigious industry awards, which were held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 7 October 2010, judged Version One the winner in the Enterprise Paperless Office & Document Management category. This coveted award is based on feedback from customers as well as the adjudication of the judging panel and is a resounding endorsement of Version One’s comprehensive end-to-end document management and imaging software portfolio.

Version One also claimed the BASDA Green Software Provider of the Year award. Judged by the Business Application Software Developers Association (BASDA), this award goes to the entrant that best demonstrates how it has developed and deployed innovative green software solutions. Version One’s electronic document management (EDM) solutions help organisations to reduce paper consumption and CO2 emissions by cutting the printing, photocopying, manual filing and postage of documents, delivering significant environmental and business benefits.

The Software Satisfaction Awards, run by Sift Media, recognise high standards from software application providers serving UK businesses. The finalists were selected based upon the votes of nearly 7,000 end users across 80 business software products, making the information gathered for the Awards one of the UK’s largest individual pieces of business opinion research.

Version One has made the final of the Software Satisfaction Awards every year for the past four years, winning the Paperless Office Software category in 2007.
