Never leave any electrical equipment on stand-by as it emits unnecessary carbon whilst also draining your finances.
Instead of putting up the heating in the Autumn and Winter months, put on an extra layer of clothing.
Whilst driving your car, if you're going to be stopped for more than 30 seconds, except in traffic, turn off the engine otherwise you are wasting fuel.
Always make sure your car tyres are properly inflated as under-inflated tyres can cause increased fuel consumption.
If you really do have to print out a document, make sure you use both sides of the paper (duplex printing).
Never leave the house without an empty carrier bag to prevent you from having to use new ones when shopping.
Always choose rechargeable batteries.
Install motion sensor lighting fixtures so that lights only turn on when they detect movement.
